ryan’s band is playing this show tonight. I assume it will be fun but I REALLY HAVE NO IDEA because I am not in Michigan but rather am in Cleveland working.
“A Choice of Catastrophes” by Syscrusher
Lansing’s incontrovertible kings of synthesis, Syscrusher, burn out brightly with this first and last offering - A Choice of Catastrophes. A concept rock opera inspired by the Isaac Asimov novel of the same name, this epic pop/prog/metal masterpiece features many layers of dueling synthesizers, as well as guest performances by Michigan indie luminaries Chris Bathgate, Matt Milia and Zach Nichols of Frontier Ruckus, Will Yates of Zoos of Berlin, Ian Graham of Cheap Girls, Alfonso Civile of Know Lyfe, and more!
Ryan finally put up this album in a format besides WAV. Its pretty neat.
So i just joined this band and we just put this song together yesterday. enjoy.
Ryan has apparently joined a screamo band with a bunch of 20 year olds (which as of late has been seeming really young to me but i think that is mostly because i am really tired and cranky lately) and i am interested in seeing where it goes.
“Between the Breath of Infinity” by Syscrusher (featuring vocals by Chris Bathgate, and bass by Ian from Cheap Girls)
Going to shows this week has been making me feel bad about how Ryan hasn’t gotten to work on this project/any other musical projects much since we moved to Ohio.
“Son” by Young Bison
It’s weird finding videos of my husband on youtube from when he was some guy I hardly knew.
