Resolute Playfulness

AGAINST THE LOGIC OF WORK Manifestoes, poetry, perhaps a few stories reflecting the rebellion of one individual against the logic of a society of work and leisure, of unwitting slavery and entertainment at a price. Reckless, ridiculous, unreasonable, mad. Anarchic, surreal, dada… None of the words on this site are themselves subversive, but all point to an endeavor to subvert reality…

I’m thinking that maybe I should start writing Insurrectionary anarchist manifestos and communiques as an outlet for all of the deep dramatic feelings I have about everything.

anthropophagous

I'm an 24 year old woman who works in various aspects of biomedical research, and is currently a grad student in Medical Anthropology & Public Health. I'm from Lansing, MI & currently live in Cleveland, OH. This is just a collection of things I think are neat.

A general overview of 'things I think are neat':abandonment/the post-industrial midwest, anarchism (syndicalism, insurrectionalism, etc), race/ethnicity (esp. defining/constructing the boundaries of whiteness), gender, class (talking/thinking about class generally seems to be an underrated activity), health care (access to, the experience of obtaining, etc), art, science fiction, punk music, conservative talk radio and anthropology (which probably incorporates almost everything else about people).
