when I was in college in NYC five inches of snow would be the top story on the news, people would freak out in grocery stores the day before, and the city would practically shut down. being from Michigan I found it really cute.
What’s weird is that we usually get a lot of lake effect snow (not this year though) but the first couple times it snows people act like they’ve never seen snow before.
